Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

HELP? are Head GP 84 skis right for me?

Hi,

I'm wanting to buy my first pair of skis and have seen some Head GP 84 skis going cheap. I know they are marketed as a park and pipe ski but need to know if they are going to be completely crap on groomed slopes and off-piste as all though I do spend a lot of time at the snow park, I will be doing a considerable amount of all mountain skiing.

Has anyone got or tried these skis? Any advice would be much appreciated!!!

I haven't skied them, but they have a decent side-cut to them so might be okay on-piste too. However, from from I've heard, they are a little soft so suited to a lighter, less aggressive skier.

Of course, this advice is worth exactly what you've paid for it Wink
