Arno, I suspect 1. there just isn't enough local business to bother and 2. that very few of the lower slopes would be good enough (and it's not exactly as though there's a surfeit of pistes higher up!).

Hmm looks like Cervinia could be an option but the website gives an option of Spring season ticket prices running from 15 April to end of season while confusingly stating at the bottom that lifts close 15 April. Anyone got any insights?
