When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Latest possible booking for easter

Planning(dreaming) of going to Tignes on Easter sunday.
There is a BMI flight to Chambery and looking to book either catered or self catreing accom

However

I have to have some cortisone injections on Wednesday and wont know effects til thursday

How late have you ever booked a flight?

How late have you ever booked accomodation?

Planning on spending alot of thursday sorting this out if I feel OK. Hopefully should be some VERY cheap stuff for sunday arrival by then.

If you are planning on going for a full week then I think that it would be hard to beat a package deal. Alpine answers has a week in Tignes catered including flights and transfers for just over 400. If you wanted to go to st Anton where there is still plenty of snow you can have a week catered including flights and transfers for 250. In my eyes that is an absolute bargain.

fuego, I've had a cortisone injection in my knee several years ago, it was 2 to 3 days before any noticable improvement. In my case it did help and the short term discomfort of the injection was soon forgotten.
