Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

As a child (under 10) I did things on skis I'd never be able to do today, nothing like a proper ski jump, but our class (top class for kids) used a different practice slope to that used by lower classes at the other end of the village, at the bottom of the slope was a road and then a further drop to the bottom of the lift, once the instructors felt you knew what you were doing they would let you ski the bump which launched you into the air, over the road and down onto the lower slope, it was quite the thing for us kids to wait until we could see one of the little electric vehicles coming down the road before we jumped, clearing road and vehicle was regarded as the thing to do, sadly that particular lift went many years ago and these days a chalet stands at the bottom of the slope where the bump used to be, but I still remember the first time I jumped over a buggy and the feeling of exhilaration it gave me more than 30 years ago, these days I'm too old and too fat to even consider doing something like that but I can appreciate the feelings that child would have had
