jbob, And szk, feckin' brilliant, but I have to say in all seriousness, how many gear hungry sports start teaching you how to handle the kit safely when not practising compared to skiing?
But hiw many ski schools could justify that first couple of valuable hours?

There should be one of those ironic websites full of people making a complete hash of carrying ski stuff.
At half term I was so tempted to get the camera out....saw one family who were simultaniously failing on all counts.
The wierdest was the mum who was carrying skis horizontally accross and in front. Hanging down, so at thigh height, but with wrists turned out, which must have been so uncomfortable.
Daughter was clasping an X shaped pair to her chest, dad carrying his tucked up under his arm, and son (quite young) was holding a tip in each hand and dragging the tails along the ground.
No way on earth was this a bit of fun on their part....you had to see it to believe it.

Someone needs to bring a camera to the EoSB, sure to get plenty of material
