Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Broken flex plate

I borrowed my wife's head cyber slalom ti skis last week for a trip to val d'isere and loved them. However, now I'm back, I've noticed that I've broken the flex plate of the bindings. They're tyrolia d8s. Is this mission critical? The plate has cracked where it joins the front binding. Not sure when I did it during the week but I certainly never noticed a difference and we were skiing very hard all week.

Guessing that if required, new bindings should be the order of the day. If so, any recommendations? We're both advanced skiers. I've scoured t'internet for a replacement without joy.
