Poster: A snowHead

Just thinking today as I hurtled down the mountain whether my carte niege is of any use during the summer season?
I know it's an annual policy but is it annual only whilst there's snow and the resort is open for its' winter season??
Anyone know??

It's annual, covers mountain activities in summer, expires in October.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Be careful to use Carte Neige alongside traditional UK Travel Insurance, there are many aspects of a travel insurance policy that Carte Neige does not cater for. A key issue would be repatriation back to the UK from France could cost up to £25,000 in an air ambulance .... ! Carte Neige will get you off the mountain but it wont get you home!

Bluemoon, my son's have a Carre Neige, with their Holiski pass, repatriation to the UK is included. I didn't think it was until I read the contract. Good value at only 19€

Bluemoon, yes it does, as long as you have paid for the 'Loisirs' option rather than the 'Primo'.

JaMMi, they are two different things.
Carte Neige Licence is annual. It covers you in any resort in France (and bordering countries?) you may ski in over the winter.
Carre Neige is bought with your lift pass.
I'll try and find some links later.
