Poster: A snowHead

I will be buying the annual Carte Neige policy for this season. Where is the best place to buy it? Are there any UK places which sell the policy, or should I wait until I'm in Tignes in November?

rob@rar.org.uk, if you buy it in Les Arcs via the SMA a small sum goes to supporting the local club

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

PG, I'd like to do that, but I would like to buy the policy in time for my first trip to Tignes (19th November). Is there any way to buy in advance/online via the SMA?

Just been talking to the club secretary - she reckons you'll be able to order it through us, will confirm tomorrow. She's phoning her contact who deals with carte neige insurance tomorrow because there's been a lot of changes in the format and cover from last year, and will get back to me afterwards...

Yes that can be arranged - they go on sale Oct 1st I think. Just for you, or the family version? Competition or basic tourist version?

Family version, to cover Jane and me. I think probably the tourist version as I won't be taking part in any organised competitions (although might try out the Fleche this season - would that be covered by the tourist version?).
