Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

British Ski School Les Arcs

Can anyone recommend a British Ski School in Les Arcs, I have a 7 and 9 yr old that will be complete beginners, I want the first steps/slides to be as positive as possible and was thinking that British instructors maybe a good starting point, purely from a language perspective.

Hi, we are off there for the first time in a couple of weeks, from what I can gather a lot depends on which Arcs you are staying in.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi we looked into this for my little one and New Generation are supposed to be excellent they are based in vallandry (for ski school groups) but if you are having private lessons they will come to whichever Arc you are at, she had a miserable time with ESF last year in Morillon as the lessons were predominantly in french and in my opinion the instructors were a bit heavy handed when they assumed the kids were not doing it properly (I actually saw them - and have it on video as i was watching out of sight- grab my daughter and swing her round by arm as she was not turning round the cone properly - she was 4 and was in no danger) although some people have very good reports of ESF but I wont be using them again.
There is another school in Arc 1950 that has good reviews but again the instructors are French and they usually teach to the majority (so if mroe French children). Hope this helps
