Martin Bell, Great result for Dave - have followed his career since I met his family at a race meeting in Dublin a couple of years ago really nice people and encourage as many racers as possible to buy from skiracing.co.uk .

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Plugboy, Do you think with those results we may get to see him in the WC this season? Was a shame not to be represented at Schladming this year.

kooky, He has already done Alta Badia, Zagreb & Kitzbuhel WC slalom this year. Unfortunately gets very high bib numbers and has to fight through the ruts!
Will do more this season I´m sure.

Think it´s all down to his dry slope background! :-D |
Not as daft as it sounds - especially in the technical disciplines. Son #1 has been out training and racing this year - and it's incredibly obvious which of the kids out training have put in the hours working on the core skills on the dry slopes. If you think about it the fast performance->feedback->performance cycle on a dry (or indoor) slope is something the alpine racers and coaches simply don't have - not to mention being able to ski year round which isn't an option for most.
