Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

You can tell it's a slow news day.
This article in
Colorado Daily News
describes in meticulous detail (perhaps too much detail) how two ski bums who worked in Crested Butte got serious about bottling salsa.
Quote:
The partners make the salsa in the rented kitchen at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds. They began by making six cases a day. They painstakingly cleaned and chopped the ingredients in small food processors.
Now, with the help of a 30-quart Hobart chopper, a 40-gallon kettle and in-line fillers, they can make 75 to 100 cases in a day. "That takes about 18 hours," Sorrin said.
"The salsa has a very unique texture that is not runny and not too thick. It sticks to chips. It is all natural and there are no preservatives so it is the freshest tasting salsa you can get in a jar," Folks said.
"We're a member of Colorado Proud so we use mostly Colorado grown ingredients. We get our onions and carrots from Rocky Ford and we don't use dehydrated or frozen veggies," Folks said.
It would be wrong to steal a great idea like this, but snowHeads 'Authentic London' Salsa is surely a begging business opportunity.
