Been heading that way since Wed last week! On Tue was still coming down light and fluffy, maybe 20-30cm in total over 36 hours, great to ski but poor poor vis. On Wed good vis and still some nice pow around but also disappointed to find myself flat on face on breakable crust already! Then the winds really picked up...

Mild today, did a few dusty runs following yestday's excesses.
Pistes excellent. Blue skies.

A wonderful day in Champoluc. It snowed lightly but constantly all day. Windy at the top but fine lower down. Fab conditions! Light and fluffy snow... but looking forward to the sun coming out, the flat light disappearingand being able to see the views!

Does anyone have room for a single male skier who wants to spend up to a week in the Monterosa region this season?
I am happy to book my own flights to Turin but I need a transfer to resort and half board single room or share and a group to ski with.
I've been addicted to skiing for 20 years so can manage most terrain.
Any takers?
BTW Have the latest snowfalls improved conditions?
Any replies gratefully received!

If you are happy on piste you will have a great time, but off piste recently is very disappointing compared to the north and western Alps. We left, but then we were looking for fresh snow.

Piste conditions excellent but off piste a bit wind scoured this past week. Our guide still found a little fresh though. Good news for anyone coming tomorrow is that it has been snowing since early this morning and doesn't look like stopping just yet.
Quiet slopes, friendly locals and good food too. Real shame abt the Guglielmina tho.

Wind-permitting Alagna tomo... semi-lob in full effect.

Im in Gressoney too. Been snowing lightly more or less constantly since we got here Friday evening. Pistes in great condition, off piste getting steadily better. No crowds. Maybe 30cms new snow in town over the last three days.
Not much sun though.

Boom - at least another 30cms overnight, and has continued to snow constantly since. The kind of day that will keep me smiling for weeks
Sun's coming out tomo apparently - not seen much of that since I arrived, not that I'm complaining of course...
