Only 50/50 chance weather will allow Hahnenkamm to go ahead.
It's not currently snowing, but a front moving up from Vorarlberg is expected to hit around 1000-1100.
Edit: just announced they will go ahead at 1130 Austrian time!

dublin1, they clear race tracks by hand because they ice the down hill courses, if they were to then send up a piste machine the tracks would rip up the frozen snow making it very dangerous

So it's a shortened course.

Over a metre of new snow in the last 48 hours. But is is heavy wet snow at Kitz, so the top section would be too dangerous. So it is going to be a sprint DH apparently.
The teams have apparently worked literally round the clock in three non-stop shifts, but the high moisture content of the snow makes it dangerous because it can ice up the racer's goggles.
The race is currently delayed by 8 minutes, but I will not be surprised if it is pushed back again.
