Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A leading world consultant Paul Mathews prepared the project for restoration of Bulgaria's Bansko resort ski runs and the surrounding areas, the company concessionaire of the resort, Ulen, said.
Mathews's company Ecosign prepared the projects of more than 140 ski resorts worldwide, including the winter Olympic games' hosts in 2010 and 2014, Canadian Vancouver and Russian Sochi, Focus news agency reported.
In the first half of 2007 Ulen invested four million leva in sustainable and nature-friendly development at the resort.
Ulen said that the restoration programmes are co-ordinated with leading specialists from the Environment and Water Affairs Ministry and the National Park Pirin.
Bansko will host competitions of the Women's Alpine skiing European Cup in 2007 and will start hosting competitions for men in 2008, Focus said.

This could be good news for me - might restore my lost faith!! But like everything else in Bansko (airport, second gondola etc.) I won't believe it until I see it.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It would be better to make the road up to the top Gondola station into a dual carriage way with a non stop bus shuttle service pick up/Drop off terminus at the top and bottom.
What were they thinking before spending millions on the first Gondola or contemplating a second one?
