Been there many times in March 1st week.
I doubt if there will be snow at the bottom...plenty of slush.
Its such a large area there is always snow, but if the snow is poor the links wont be open, although you can still get to the other areas.
There are 1 or 2 very old 2 man chairs.
They made a few improvements for the lthe Olympics

We were there March last year...............ooodles of snow right down to the bottom no slush and all the links were open.
We'll be there 11th march onward and expect it to be the same.
James lives out there and reporting great snow, so don't see it disappearing in 4 weeks.........
Lift system has been upgraded with plenty of 4 man lifts and a bubble over to Sestriere.
