Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

OK, so number 2 son had been given a pair of Line twin tips that used to have Marker bindings on them. He goes on line to look for some bindings and buys... another pair of skis. These are
K2
Seth Vicious which are fine (if you like lime green & fluorescent pink top sheets) except one of the heel bindings (Marker 1200 Titanium) is off the ski and missing its two front mounting screws and another part (spring?) that would appear to hold the screw in place that allows you to adjust the binding slightly to the right boot size. It seems a shame to have to ditch these bindings when they are 90% complete even if you could argue that that's the safest option. Our local ski shops haven't been able to help. Anyone out there with the knowledge/access to spares that will allow us to get him on the snow on a very tight budget?

possibly anything technical in kendal, as they deal with spares for marker (last time i checked) you might need some pictures of what you have and what is missing and it probably won't be that cheap unless they have some old bits lying around the workshop
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
