How young is "very young"? We used the ski schools at Big White/Silver Star in Canada who do an all day child care with a one hour private lesson per day package from age 3 for son #1. Both very family friendly resorts - traffic free, everywhere is ski in/ski out and plentry of free / low cost children's activities laid on for the evenings.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The best ski tuition our Son had when he was very young was at Stowe in Vermont and Panorama in Canada. Much superior to the offerings the ESF came up with a couple of times. Group sizes of 3 to 6 rather than 12 to 15 in France.

I don't know if it's what you're looking for but we used the Mom'en Ski service in Le Grand Bornand three or four times with our kids. They do an all day service but we used the "morning and lunch" service. Basically you drop the kids off (top of the gondala, next to the ESF), they take them in to Mom'en Ski, get them ready for ski school, pick them up from ski school, give them some lunch and then play games, do some drawing etc until about 2pm when we used to pick them up. Ours first went when they were 4 and 'ski school' was mostly in the snow garden directly outside the ESF where they'd spend their time on the magic carpet then sliding around between inflatable snowmen etc. They progressed into ski school proper when they were 5. At 5 were we still pretty much meeting them at 2pm and going straight back into town. The following year they'd ski with us for a bit after we'd picked them up.
One thing to point out if it's important is that the kids using Mom'en Ski were 80% French and the staff spoke little English. This didn't matter at all to us - kids just play with kids anyway regardless of language and we had no issues whatsoever communicating with the staff, particularly anything important.

valais2, 2's a tad young but 2 1/2 seems to be a widely used benchmark for many keen skiers to intro their children gently ontot he snow. ZizZag currently have a young lad of that ages with 30 minute lessons doing well this week. Hoping my own grandson who will be that age next year will start

Big White and Silver Star (links are to daycare - but you should be able to navigate to main ski school ok). This was great for older one too as midweek it was really quiet but they'd still run a "group" lesson at all levels that even one person was booked on to - so son #1 got "groups" of 1 almost all the time).
First part of this video is son #2 at Silver Star aged about 22 months.

Not many places will do lessons from 2. The only ones I can think of right now are Gerlos (a top of the mountain kids area so not too much risk of them tramping around in slush) or Hochzeiger in Austria and Smugglers Notch. If you particularly want France try Catherine Pouppeville in Flaine.

We used Neige Adventure in Nendaz, Switzerland. We have used then twice and they were excellent. They also hire equipment so everything can be done from the one location. My kids are now 6 and 4 but were 4 and 2 when they first went there.
They have a large room at the top station of the telecabine where the children meet at the start of the day. They then went outside to ski with the usual magic carpet etc They pop back into the warm every half an hour or so and have snacks etc. You can also arrange for them to have a hot lunch there.
We used to collect the kids and then ski down the 100m or so to the nursery area with another magic carpet, infaltable things to ski around, slide, swing, cafe and helicopter landing area (which the kids liked best).
Our children had a good experience with Neige Adventure and the elset can now do snowplough turns etc etc. Overall I would recomend them.
Also Nendaz is a lovely village with plenty to do after a day's skiing and it's not too far from Geneva (2 hrs).
