My Head Great Ones were stolen in Tignes, so I'm now looking into new skis. I am leaning towards the Scott Rosas - However I am open for some suggestions please ?
Must be All Mountain but I'm probably not looking for anything too fat under foot. I am Femal, 5'7" and just under 10st, skiing on and off piste.

I like K2 Apaches as an all mountain ski, they suit my style. Feel for your loss - I've had two virtually new sets nicked - Ross. Bandits from a car that was smashed into and a set of K2's from a locked locker in a locked storage room. Still want to take the hands of the twunks that took them.

IncogSkiSno, my OH had Volkl Auras last season (until they too were stolen), they're the female version of the Mantra I think - she loved them. Apx 90-92 underfoot if I remember correctly. They're fairly stiff as ladies skis go i think. Volkl also make an Aurora (or something similar), which is not the same ski. She's similarly tall and weightless as yourself and used them largely off piste. . .

What about something with rocker like the Rossi S3, I think the men's and women's version are exactly the same. I think the newer Volkl Auras also have rocker and the Auras I have aren't particularly stiff and felt pretty good everywhere. I've not tried them but the Nordica Nemesis always seem to get good reviews and the Blizzard Black Pearls look interesting and are available at Ellis Brighams so you could demo.

N got Rosa's last season and loves then, she's been skiing mainly piste 'till then but has started venturing off on the Rosa's, I really think they've helped her confidence on and off and taken her up a level - great ski, go buy a pair!!

IncogSkiSno, I've skied the Kendos which is the unisex version of the Kenjas and really liked them but I would probably still pick my S3s over them

Putting it in manually didn't come up with much, but c & p brought up a bit. I see Filarinskis have them in (and discounted) - might be well worth giving Marco a ring. I'd eat my hat if he hasn't tested them already this season and that boy sure knows his onions (and he'll be honest with you).

It has indeed been a while .
These are my partners and she won them in a raffle. They are too much ski for her and too long aswell at 165 (she is 5'3" on a good day). So we want to sell them so she can get some boots.

A good friend has a set, she's about your age and build, slightly better than you standard wise, she absolutely loves them. I've seen he ski on them and they do pretty much everything that it says on the tin. Just buy them.

Rossi S3s are fab, but a tad wide underfoot for proper piste performance.
One of the Dynastar Outland 80 derivatives? 80 underfoot with rocker; carve well and really nice in the bumps.

First of all, I'm bummed that you had your skis stolen. That sucks!
I haven't been on any of the Scott skis for 2012 so I can't help on that particular ski, but I can tell you that I haven't heard anything bad about the Rosa's and I usually hear the bad news from clients if there is a bad review.
For skis in that category, which I call an all mountain ski with a powder bias:
Blizzard Black Pearl - 88 mm under foot, flip core rocker, plenty of edge grip to have fun on piste, but enough stability under foot and slight rocker to tear it up when you go off piste.
Rossignol S2W - 92mm under foot, this ski is designed to take you all over the mountain, even rip up groomers but will inspire you to be playful off piste.
Atomic Elysian - 95mm under foot, and perhaps a bit wider than you're looking for, but still a really fun ski for someone who wants to hit the whole mountain and not feel like you're being held back from doing what you want to do, where you want to do it.
Fischer Koa 88 - 88 under foot, and probably the easiest ski to ski in this category. This is a ski I recommend for someone who wants to improve off piste skiing and is a little timid. I don't think of you as being timid.
Salomon Geisha - 97mm under foot and (again) maybe a little wider than you want to go, but easy to ski, fun and doesn't punish you when you're skiing groomers.
Salomon Lady - - 85 mm under foot and may be a little too "front side" oriented for your desired all mountain ski. I'd recommend this for someone who is venturing off piste from time to time but spends most of her time on piste.
Volkl Kenja - 86mm under foot. The Kenja is a powerful ski with a metal top sheet. I'd recommend this for someone who wants to drive a ski and show the ski who's boss. This ski is grippy on the groomers and powerful enough to take charge of anything it is path. The only down side is the extra metal makes it stiff and a bit unforgiving if your tail gets tired.
There are lots more skis that are great all mountain skis with a groomer bias but I think you're looking for something to inspire the off piste skier in you.

What is meant by "Frontside" ?
From that line up and your review, if I had to choose from any of those, I would probably go with the Pearls or Koa. I am timid Off Piste and due to an accident, I am wary of other skiers on piste too.

Front side is another way of saying, groomers, or on piste.
Of the skis I listed above, the only one that I felt would throw me down when the terrain was unfriendly was the Kenja.
To explain a bit more, I did ski testing in 2 days and had an opportunity to try 25 skis in 2 days.
I skied women's skis only, and did mid fat skis one day, groomer skis the second day.
I chose one line to compare all skis equally, which consisted of small moguls, a rutted up area that was ungroomed, some soft snow, and firm groomers.
When I skied the Kenja in the small moguls it was okay but not the best, but when I went through the rutted up area, it was not as easy to get my feet back under me as when I skied the other skis in this class.
To me the Koa seemed almost too easy to ski and I wasn't quite sure if it would hold me back if I skied it every day and tried to push it.
The Head Mya was okay, but I don't remember much about it, which tells me that it wasn't inspiring.
As for being wary of on piste skiers, If you're anything like me, you'd rather take your chances with trees and choppy snow than wonder what the heck the other skiers are going to do.
Disclaimer about my quiver:
Groomer ski - Blizzard Viva 8.1
Daily driver/off piste - Black Pearl
Deep powder - DPS Yvette 112RP Pure
I haven't had my Yvettes out yet this year. Someone needs to do a snow dance over here!!!

SnowHot, Thanks so much you have been really helpful, and so has everyone else! I am still undecided. I went and had a look at the Rosa's today, just to see if I could make a decision, but I couldn't. I am sorely tempted with the Pearls too, and not sure about the MYA yet.

IncogSkiSno, a good buy I think. I'm thinking about replacing my K2 MissDemeanors soon. I will probably look at reductions in March or even wait until next season. I had my eye on the 158cm Scott Missions that Cynic was selling, but not sure I should buy just yet.
