Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone know of any (for skis and boots)? The hotel we are staying in is a few miles away. Thanks.

If you are staying in Hinterglemm, then Heugenhauser's lockers at the bottom of Schonleiten in Vorderglemm are at the other end of the valley at least 10 km from Hinterglemm. rolling eyes

Most of the ski rental shops have depots for their customers. Where exactly are you staying?

Cheersquinton, We are staying in Lengau but want the ability to hang about Hglemm or Saalbach and go to the apres ski bars without having to go back to the hotel and without lugging skis and boots around

pjd, Unless you're renting from one of the shops in Hinterglemm and can use their depot, then you're a bit stuck for options. Lengau is 4 km outside of Hinterglemm and 8 km from Saalbach, so far from ideal for long apres sessions in either village. Note that if you're looking to do apres in Saalbach or Hinterglemm, the ski busses stop running at 5pm, so you're facing a €25-€30 taxi from Saalbach after that time. On the bright side, you are perfectly placed for some great early morning runs on Hochalm - you'll be an hour ahead of everyone else trying to get there from Hinterglemm and even further ahead of the Saalbach skiers.
