Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi
I wonder if anybody can help me. I've been really stupid and managed to book a ski pass in Avoriaz for the wrong week (I booked for 21st Jan but need 29th Jan). I realise this is really stupid but was hoping that the lift company would swap my week for an adminstration fee. Not unreasonable I feel.
However I seem to be having no joy with the lift company. Does anybody have any advice or idea where I stand legally (not a leg to stand on I suspect).
Failing thatI will just have to try and sell it, althought I suspect this may be difficult.
I guess it all serves me right for being stupid but I feel the lift company could be a bit understanding, they appear to be unable to understand my request, either that or are flatly saying tough.

Is it Chantal? She was a right cow when I tried to do my season pass. I suspect they may be more helpful if you could turn up in person, sorry I can't help anymore but I agree it should be nice and simple. Have they even posted it?

yes it was. Unfortunately I will not be in resort until the week after I its valid for. I dont feel Im asking the earth from them as if I lost the pass then would be able to cancel it quickly. Im prepared to pay admin costs.

, I'd say keep puhing, and if they don't help start asking for complaints procedures, ask to speak to superiors etc.
