Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi Guys,
Hope you are all well & Christmas was enjoyable for all
Cannot decide who to go with for hiring ski's in Les Arc's 2000 on the 15th - 23rd.
We are looking at these two:
http://www.intersport-rent-france.co.uk/FrontOffice/rent/page/pack.aspx?m=1161&dd=20120115&df=20120121&partenaire=6
Skiset
.co.uk
There are 7 of us & we will be hiring the best skis available.
Skiset
is more expensive, are the top ski's better than interpsorts?
Any help appreciated
Kindest regards
Jake

Used
Skiset
a few times and sort of got ripped off last year at LaPlagne. I had gone on line to pick skis of my choice for me and wifey from their list.
On the day of hire it turned out that the hire shop at the Terra Nova had none of the advertised skis at all. On the first day I was given some old model something or other and only by complaining and still having to pay more was I given some decent Rossignols (not on list)
I later found out that if on Skisets website, under the ski of your choice, the words "Guaranteed Model" are not present, then you can be given anything.
I did write an email to
Skiset
on my return, complaining about this and got a refund of a days hire, but I was still a bit peeved. After all, why put up pictures of nice current model skis if it is not certain you can hire them.
Anyway, taking my own this year.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I used
Skiset
, paid for the performance skis on line, they did not have the exact brand I had asked for, so was given the choice of anything they had in the shop, it was all brand new, excellent equipment. I have used them twice in the 3V'S and twice in Megeve and only ever found the shops helpful and good quality. I have not booked the budget end.

Used both before for ski hire only, as had my own boots, no issues with either. I did find that, whilst with
Skiset
I chose the model I wanted, I didn't get that in the shop, but was still happy with the alternative.
