Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I recently took my skis into the local snow and rock for a service before my holiday in jan? I currently have K2 Amp rictors with marker MX. 12 bindings. When i took them to the shop i noticed the bindings felt a bit wobbly and mentioned this to the service guy who had a look and stated they were fine as when i place my boot in them they would be ok! Is this right????

Yup, once the boot is in place the forward pressure of the binding on the boot normally stiffens things up.

Depends where it's wobbly. If it's between the binding and ski, then get it looked at. If it's within the binding itself, then what Idris said.
