Poster: A snowHead

I remember a topic about this, it sort of suggested that you shouldn't train while you have a head cold,........er, manflu!
What's the problem with doing this, other than nearly passing out after the squat session that is

Apart from the potential to pass the germs to anyone else in the vicinity?
There was a topic about this somewhere, I seem to remember it having something to do with the amount of oxygen you are getting and the lower immune system suffering??? Does that ring a bell or am I losing the plot?

I'm sure some medics will be along shortly to correct this, but afaik there is a real danger of getting an inflamation of the heart if you train with a cold if you have a fever. That at least is the wisdom that was imparted to me by a doctor here in Germany. Inflamation of the heart is no fun at all, so I tend to avoid exercise when I have a bad cold.

Hello Mosha Marc,
Don't do it.....at all, light, medium, heavy-leave it all alone until you have recovered. It can be dangerous.
Cheers, Geoff
