Has anyone taken the Altibus from
Geneva airport to Tignes? Does this involve a transfer at Bourg?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Not usually. There may be a stop though, but no transfer.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Gainz, Thanks. I looked at the train option and although cheaper seemed more bother that it's worth ie Airport to Geneva Station, then change at Chambery, then bus up the hill from Bourg. It also takes ages. I guess avoiding all that hassle is worth an extra £20 to £30 or so. Does Altibus go through Annecy? I love that place

Not to Tignes, but I took it to Val Thorens a few years, and for that we had to change from coach to minibus in Bourg.

The bus from Geneva stops at Bourg. You get another bus up to Tignes - usually a wait of about 30 minutes.
