There used to be a 3 person lift like that on the higher of the Wengen Nursery Slopes, however there they did at least have a small flat section at the top, on more than one occasion though I saw kids pulled completely out of their ski boots at the start and people not quite making the top sliding backwards as in the above clip

adie, yep, absolute class. Imagine the fight to get on the outside. At that speed it would seem "1 down, all down"

adie, they used to have a regular lift with lift stanchions etc, but avalanches kept on damaging them so they installed what you see in the video to combat this.
