Poster: A snowHead
|
Given that I'm currently faced with the prospect of a lack of abundant snow when I take my ski hol and that I might be limited initially to rather unexciting pistes anyone got any recommendations for a good online drill progression useful for getting one's skiing head back on?
Limitations include the fact that NO one footed skiing will be done (too risky).

fatbob, I'd go with a variation on turn shape and size, gradually building speed and moving from skid to grip as you go.
Bit like rob's funnel drill.

fatbob, Ski without sticks. Get your teles out - and ski them without sticks.
With sticks, loose or undone boots - both alpine and tele.

Mike3000, Literally skiing a funnel or egg timer shape. Wide corridor to narrow corridor and back again if you have the space. You can also explore how this changes your speed of descent along with the shape of your arcs.

Get's you to balance using your ankles and feet, rather than relying on your boots. Best done on an easy slope
