As there is now snow in most European resorts I feel it appropriate to start a thread (in a Jeremy Clarkson balanced approach) for those of us who aren't out there this weekend and are now starting to panic that the snow will all have melted or be ski'd off by the time we actually get out there in Jan/Feb/March or whenever it happens to be. (Jan 8th for me).
I expect lot's of trolling from those due to go in the next few days and extensive negative comments about the fact that all these pre christmas skiers/boarders are going to ruin the rest of the season for the majority of us.

Yes we are going just after Christmas ... what if the snow melts? What if it dumps 200cm and we cant get up the mountain? What if there is a landslide at the bottom of the valley? What if Eurotunnel is closed? What if I forget how to ski? What if the financial crisis leads to parity between the £ and the CHF? What if Europe is invaded by giant lizards wearing nylon night-dresses? What if I can't think of anything else to worry about?

well, a couple of good responses but generally a poor response. i thought there were more harbingers of doom and trolls. around these places.
but it could be everyoneis now....
checking www.snow-forecast.com to see how much its dumped in their resort of choice.
checking resort webcams and sending links and FBook pictures to all of their supposed friends.
or currently in a bar getting drunk after a superb day in powder.
