Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys. Hope you can help me. Me and two friends are flying into geneva on the 15th December at 8pm, then departing on the 18th at 9pm. And that is all that's booked at the moment. I know it's snowing everywhere ish but where shall we go? We are 2 good intermediates and 1 rusty intermediate.
So many choices it's a bit overwhelming. If we hire a car is val torrents too far? Or would we be better going some where closer to geneva like chamonix?
We're not that budget conscious, we just want loads of great skiing......
Any advice would be much appreciated......

I posted something similar a few days ago. I'm flying in on the 11th and out on the 18th. I've ended up booking to stay in Morzine with Snowhead Paul Dally at ApexMorzine. Avoriaz is said (by
Paulio !) to have great snow at the min.
Plenty of other possibilities though, incl Tignes and Val d'Isere. Have a look in the snow reports forum.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, it's going to snow that weekend... I'd not aim too high unless you're a dab hand with snowchains on an unfamiliar vehicle.
Chamonix might work well, I would avoid torrents

I think we're gonna do morzine/avoriaz as well. Thanks.....
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

, Paulio has just had a great day in Les Gets and is off to Avoriaz tomorrow.
Tom Doc and friend are going to have a great week.
We have another snowhead arriving on 15th too.
Come and join the fun. Nina says still 30 euro's per person per night B&B. Transfers 60 euro's return from/to Geneva.
Could turn this into an alternative bash, sort of.
Maybe do a dinner in one night for all the snowhead guests.
Bass Camp DJ's have got a few gigs lined up now. Morzine is starting to party.
