A quick question for someone. What time do they start in the morning? I seem to remember my last one was about 9.30am but I've just clicked on the link in the e-mail basi sent me for more info on the course and all it does is take me to a general courses page with no info on the refresher I'm on tomorrow.

skir67, where are you doing it? I guess it's location dependent.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

OK, can't help with that. The ones at Hemel seem to start at 10.00am.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I'd have thought they'd be a common starting time. But confirmation would be good.

skir67, different slopes might have different opening times. Hemel, for example, doesn't open until 10am during the week.

because virtually whenever you ring the ski school non-customer number you get voicemail, particularly at weekends.
So does anyone know the time they start? I suspect Rob may be right with 10am. I think I'll just get there early and have a bit of a slide before things get going.

If you've booked onto a BASI course, then surely the people to phone if checking when it starts are BASI.

yep, I saw your first post and thought 'oh well I'm going to be a bit late', but of course when I got there I wasn't. I think Andy had been there a few minutes. I've worked for him at a couple of places so it was nice that it was him that was taking the course as I've always got on with his teaching style and delivery. It was a very good day for a refresher.

skir67, I will pass the feedback on to the office about the lack of start time in the email. Did it really not say at all? Seems strange.

Seem to remember my l1 start time was buried somewhere in the general blurb, not that obvious!

there was a link in the booking confirmation e-mail for further details which took me to a page on the basi website with 'manchester' in the address, but this just appeared to be the general courses home page with no information relating to my course.
