Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys, heading off at end of March with young daughetr in tow. Planning on sharing a lift pass between me and hubby with the other hitting the nursery slopes with 3 year old.

Which resorts, pref PDS area, have free nursery slopes?

Cheers

Hi Jo,

Part of Paradiski rather than PDS but Plagne Village and Les Coches where our chalets are based both have free nursery slopes.

Happy planning!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

crookedjo, La Tania has a free drag lift in the village centre - very convenient for most accommodation and shops, cafes etc., so a good point to do a handover as you can ski straight back to the free lift/slope.

Not sure about the sharing a lift pass though - I was there last week and although there are no photos etc., it's always seemed a risk, so on a day when one of our group wasn't skiing and could have 'lent' another in the group who was just getting day passes when they wanted to ski, we didn't - I've known other resorts where the lift pass has been confiscated

I think the most french resorts have free skipass for 5years and younger, someone say to me if I had wrong,, but to share skipass??? I know that some resorts in Scandinavia had a parents skipass for parents with small kids, If you not are a gay couple Toofy Grin even if there is no photo it says if it is for a man or a women in the most resorts,,,

If you're open to other areas, then SkiWelt do an official 2 parents/1 pass swappable lift ticket:

And kids free under 5 too so you'd only need one pass between you all.

Yes, they do them in France - The Evasion Mont Blanc does them "forfait non nominatif et sans photo". Day pass prices are the same as normal one, then I think they are slightly (i.e. a euro or two) more expensive for longer passes, but they don't have to be used on consecutive days either.

In Saalbach, all children born in 2006 or later receive a free lift pass. From 17th March. the offer includes children born in 1996 or later, provided that an adult purchases a ticket for 3 or more days. But I can't find a pass that parents can officially share (although 6-day passes do not have a photo).

Flaine has free nursery lifts + ski passes for the whole GM are free for under 5's
You should also be OK sharing the adult pass as long as you buy it in resort (our friends did this last year & had no problem) - anything online has a name on it
