Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Went up to Bruson this morning for a look at all this new snow. Raining in the car park Sad

Headed up the mountain looking for snow. Unfortunately the La Pasay chair was shut for bombing so did a few laps of the poma - it was super heavy!


Rather damp and with a sinking Goat rider for company stopped at the restaurant. Wouldn't want his job....


Restaurant full of Verbier guides - usually a sign you're in the right place for snow. News filtered through that the chair was opening. Would it be better up top?

Just wonderful. Seems silly that what I do on my planks, and this, both go by the name 'skiing'. The two activities could scarcely be more different, unfortunately.

Jealous. Cool I was advised by Haggis Trap to not, under any circumstances miss skiing Bruson but sadly, on the few days in the week leading up to xmas that any lifts were running, almost nothing there was open and the only people busy in the trees were said to be the lumberjacks trying to make the area safe.

Ah, I may not have looked like that, but I have been to Bruson and it's utterly gorgeous - so quiet and unspoilt in comparison with its brash neighbour.
