Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Skiing Canada for a month- Feb or March??

Hi guys

Did start a topic the other day asking if march was good for whistler- but it seemed a bit specific and im not sure where exactly i will go anyway!

However- im thinking of the Whistler, big white, red mountain, fernie, kicking horse areas.

Anyway- i can take 4 weeks off in either Feb or March or split between the two. I dont have time to decide exactly where i want to go- thats the fun bit in planning- but i have to notify my work TOMORROW of when i want off- and its set in stone.

I did try and compare snow fall charts, but couldn't find much as tbh i dont know what im looking for! Very Happy

Looks like you get half the snow in Feb compared to march on average. Is that good or bad for what you want. Too much snow there tends to mean low vis loads is great for the deep off piste.

So not sure what question you are asking.

Agreed. February can rock but often it's just 'too cold to snow'.

I'd go March if I was you - crowds will be down too.
