Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just checked the FIS site and Mussy qualified in 23rd for the finals of the sprints in the Tour de Ski today. I've not checked the results for the finals as:
1) They may still be ongoing as I post this.
2) I've recorded the coverage on Eurosport and don't want to spoil it when i watch it tonight.

Whats the odds that the BBC coverage even on the website will be sod all as per the rest of the xc coverage - not even resulst of the Tour de Ski in the wintersports resulst section.

Mussy is best at skate over classic hence the good results in the freestyle sprints today and freestyle prologue at the start of the tour.

I've watched the heats now and the results in the finals were:

Mussy was in a hard heat (the fastest) with Petter Northug and didn't make it through.

A 30+km skate pursuit today, but though it is in Mussy's favoured skate style his position in the Tour (68th) means World cup points are unlikely as he would need to pull back a lot of places and a lot of time to finish in the top 30.

The resulst from yesterdays skate race are that Mussy now lies 55th and it could have been much better if he hadn't been taken out by another skier:
