Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Various websites describe it as being in Plagne Centre or Plagne 1800, but map view looks more like Belle Plagne.

Agent's website for chalet: http://www.thomsonski.co.uk/ski-resorts/france-ski-holidays/la-plagne/chalet-vidal/?_s_icmp=recentaccom

Anyone been there and know for definite?

I stayed in the same building last year all be it in a different apartment. Nice enough but there isn't much in 1800 which may or may not suit you. It's really well situated for the Spar supermarket and Intersport if you want your rental from there you go up to about the 3rd floor walk out the back door of the building and you're there, Getting to the 1800 lifts it's either a walk down hill to the lift that take you up towards the centre of a longer walk to take the lift that tkaes ypu up towards Aime Le Plagne-it's a pretty steep path though and difficult if icy. The free bus service is quick and reliable though, and if you do stay in Le Plagne 1800 the run back from the centre can be an icy death trap!

There a nice Italian in LP 1800, and two bars from memory a British ran one and Le Mine both close to the apart/chalet building. There's another place at the lift up to Aime but the name escapes me.
