Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Adelboden & Lenk off piste.

I shall be going on a Ski Club of GB off piste holiday to Adelboden in February with top guide Remi Lecluse. However I and someone else are going out a day early so will have a while to explore first. Does anyone know where to go for the good off-piste? By good I especially mean steeper off piste or tree skiing.
I'm also hoping to ski most of the last saturday by taking a very late flight, but by then I hope I'll know where to go.

There is good off-piste from Lavay 2200 down to aeby 1530 on the right site of the piste. Or from Lavay down to Bühlberg on the left site of the piste.

Also great and challenging is the off-piste run down from Tschenten to Adelboden.

Great off piste is also en Engstligenalp, there are no trees but mostly great dry powder…
