Long time since I lived in the Borders. Where is this place ? Any good ?
And does Hillend still exist on the Braid Hills on the edge of Edinburgh ? At one time I think that claimed to be the longest artificial run in Europe. But that was late 60s............ student days. Sighs ........
I skied it once when there was a smidgeon of real snow filling the gaps in the honeycomb. It was pretty fast then. Otherwise, it was pretty slow and a source of many a staved thumb. But long enough to link a few turns together.

Hillend is still there- Uni Snowsports club goes there most weeks when theres no real snow (99% of the time)
