Well the deed is done and the old Dachstein V4's have finally been retired, after some 27 years and countless memories and runs over snow, water, mud, grass, rocks and even a little Scottish heather.
So the question is what should I do with them, a display case, offer them to the design museum, tell Dachstein that they have lasted some 27 years and well over a 1,000 days skiing, and maybe they will start a hall of fame for them.
OR
Do the decent thing and give them a good burial when I am next in the Alps, I Viking funeral or send them to the great recycle yard (ebay)
So all suggestion accepted, after so many years I can not really part with them.

Ebay. Put them up as "classic" and "very hard to get hold of". It'll add £30 to the price

Even better, enclose them with amber and bury them. In a couple of million years time, someone will dig them up, extract the SkiNA and build a juraski park.

bandsaw the front of the boot off (or leave them as is if you've got space, screw the remaining heel/ankle/leg bit to the floor and use them as a ski rack for all those funky ski's you've got leaning against the wall.

You know it makes sense.

If you have a workshop, with a bit of judicious cutting they make nice holsters for drills or other tools.

I used to have a pair of those.
Serious question to SZK:
Has ski boot technology taken a step back? Were those the best ever?
I guess modern plastics are better and more customisable, but that aside:
Front entry.
4 clips with micro adjust
Canting adjust
Lean angle adjust
Stiffness adjust
Walk/Ski mode
