Any snowheads provide a recommendation for a private instructor in Courchevel for my wife. She's been skiing about twice as long (about 20 years) as I have and even is she doesn't think so is cabable of pretty much any pisted run but starts to struggle when it gets steep, deep or bumpy. She's by no means a bad skier but falls back to basics like stem turns when she loses her nerve. Ideally looking for someone who can remove some of the basic and ingrained bad habits and instill a bit more confidence in her skiing.
PS going to 1850 in early Jan if that provides further help in the selection/recommendation process.

I've been using New Generation when I go to Courch, my partner's first time on snow was with them last year and she was comfortable skiing from Signal at the end of the week. You could do a lot worse than asking for mountain man Roy.

He no longer works for NewGen.
Steve Down who works for NewGen might be a good choice. I think he's good for people who are looking to build their confidence.

Claude Decagny - www.snowarea.net - is an excellent instructor, really good at increasing your confidence.
Great sense of humour as well, even though he is French!!!
