i may sound like a mong but are their any transfers or some kind of coach service available running from geneva airport to avoriaz les gets on the drop of a hat.say i book flights from manchester and land in geneva unanounced.or will i need to book methods of transport prior to flights? i just fancy 3/4 days as a warm up.and can any of guys suggest cheap bed and breakfast.and will i need to book that before hand.also where can i buy a ski pass from

waiter_fisherman, when are you thinking of going? Generally you need to have looked at transfers before hand, and possibly booked (or you could spend a lot of time hanging round at the airport). Equally, you could just get transport to the middle of les gets then walk about with your bag knocking on doors and looking for somewhere to sleep, but personally I'd book in advance. At busy times you could end up sleeping under a bush. Chilly.
the resort website would be good for accommodation.
they're desperate to sell you a lift pass - that's the easy bit! Plenty of lift pass offices, and generally you can buy on line in advance, too.
