Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Eurostar Price Fluctuation

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Last year me and the missus took the Eurostar to Moutiers for the first time.

We booked up in August and paid £169 and the recently released prices are the same this year.

My question is, does anyone know from previous experience if prices increase much and if so around when..?

Thanks,

~Mac

As the trains fill up then the price goes up.

Direct train prices go up to £337 in Standard and £466 in Standard Premier

The prices are higher on some dates than others. We were quoted £189 return for school holiday week whereas on the less popular weeks the price is as low as £149 return.

If you go on the Eurostar website and put in the dates you are thinking of it shows the different ticket prices.

If you are thinking of booking I'd book as soon as possible as the fares will only rise as the cheaper seats sell out.

I used the ski train last year for the 3rd time and looked at the price one day and went to book the day after and the price had increased by £100 per person for the return trip. The guy at eurostar just said that there are certain levels of availability and when that level is passed the price automatically increases (as mentioned above). We went mid january and the price increase around early/mid november although for busier weeks i assume this would be earlier!
