Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Repping for a week or so at a time

Hi everyone,

A while ago there was a thread on ski companies that need reps for only a week or so at a time, and so this could be fitted around study or whatever. This thread has vanished but could whoever put up the list do so again please? The only one of which I know at the moment is Ski Alpine.

Off The Piste offer that if you're willing to rep for students... Obviously they need more reps during Christmas and Easter holidays than they need the rest of the time.

Mate of mine has been doing it for a few years.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You need to look for the companies that cater for schools and colleges. PGL are one of these, Ski Alpine as you say, TravelBound, Wasteland, Off the piste, plus others. Check out the usual sites (Natives, ski-jobs.co.uk etc) for more details. This won't be a "resort rep" role, you'll travel out (usually on a coach) with sets of kids/students and the job will be looking after them; at the end of the week you'll typically travel back with them too.

Wayne punts his opportunities occasionally though I've got a feeling he is easily oversubscribed and may make you do sneaky maffs tests.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks for the advice and names, that's exactly what I'd like, work for a week at a time. Hopefully I won't get a group of utter flids and will enjoy a relatively relaxing week as a result.

No we don’t ask maths question for airport reps, who are interviewed on the phone by the admin manager. But…. You would be amazed at how many people think she has just called for a chat.

We’re sorted for airport staff next year.

Funnily enough I just got an email from Off The Piste on the same subject, apparently their application process has started/is starting.

They will give priority to people who can work 2 of:

7-15 Dec
14-22 Dec
28 Dec - 5 Jan
4-12 Jan
22-30 March
29 March - 6 April.

There's also a training week in November and they want you to work 2-6 weeks, mostly uni holidays.

Wonder if I can get 3 weeks off work Laughing Laughing
