Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys, we are off to stay on the campsite in Montchavin at the weekend, anyone been there this week, how good is the access, are the roads clear, just a little concerned over getting the motorhome to the campsite! Puzzled

The main problem the last few days has been the cold. And the forecast is for this to continue for the rest of the week. So you really need to ensure your vehicle is set up for extreme cold. Is it a diesel? If so, you will need additive and buy fuel locally if you can. You should be OK going in and hopefully things may have warmed up before you leave! At least you aren't going to high. Thinking, I presume it will be heated through the week, so you should have no problems. I think it's the folks who've left the car for the week that have had the prob. Roads should be completely clear.
