Poster: A snowHead

Any suggestions?
Looking for inexpensive base wax / summer storage / general purpose wax for the ever growing family ski collection ( 5 pairs adult skis 2 pairs children's skis- this soaks up a lot of wax)
Also some goodish top wax for going fast- have some hard wax for quick and dirty base repairs.
Keen not to spend £12 on one small slab.

ed123, toko universal for storage. Contact Jon Coster for 400g dominator universal for using on skis on a day-to-day basis - I have the same problem re our family's skis...a lot of waxing and scraping which, on a good day, is relaxing. On a rushed morning, hell.
Top wax...avoid flourinated wax...very bad for the environment (and lungs, if overheated) use hydrocarbons - toto blue is actually very good (especially this year in weird snow we had) and is very good for cannon-snow and spring snow. Re going fast...more important to have wax protecting your base than making you go fast - technique far more important than wax (don't fall into the 'all the gear and no idea' camp) and how you put the wax on, and how you scrape and prep (sharp scraper and good structure in base).

spyderjon, Would you also recommend this as a general purpose wax for applying through the winter, or simply for storage?

Chamcham, I use it as a general purpose wax (and so do my mates although they don't know it ) and it seems OK.

ed123, Edge & Wax sell Holmenkol universal wax 250g for £10.00 never used it.
But spyderjon, Dominator Zoom is a great day to day wax and is only £15.50 for 200g or 400g £28.00 I'd go for the Zoom
