I'd second vrbo, made a couple of bookings with members a couple of summers ago and saved about a third on the commercial sites. Both were geared up to take credit cards as well.

Lot's of VRBO listings for Breck...I also have neighbors who run Vacation Lodging Network just down the road in Frisco (between Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper Mountain) and specializes in Colorado. They have been looking to add VRBO owners onto their Intrarez system for taking online bookings.

We visited, as a family of four, Breckenridge and Winter Park over easter for two weeks. We booked part of our accomodation with Helen Brown - info@chalets-usa.co.uk . We stumbled accross Helen somehow on the web and found her to be really helpful, so helpful I'm pleased to be able to pass her name on to someone else. We also got group discounts/corporate rates on lift passes via Helen. I believe Helen is english and lives out there working as an independant accomodation broker. We got some excellent prices and background information. Hope you have as much fun as we had, its amazing.
