Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Jackson Hole - Best Flight Routing

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Looking to plan next years trip to Jackson and was wondering which would be the best way to route the flights, preference would be London Heathrow or Manchester, does anybody have any advice as to which would be the best route to take that would give the least amount of hassle on the US change and shortest travel time, 9 year old involved!.
I have looked at London - Denver - Jackson but would welcome any other advice.

Thanks

No need to drive. There're so many flights straight into Jackson.

To find the transit city, go to the Jackson website. They list all the airlines flying into Jackson and the gateway city.

leedsunited, you can fly straight to chicago from manchester ( well you could last year) and if what freeheelskier, said about direct flights from chicago to Jackson, then thats your best bet i think.

leedsunited, Having looked into this many moons ago, I think your outward journey might entail a night in Denver or SLC because your flight in will almost certainly arrive after the last Jackson flight has gone. From SLC it is driveable but I reckon 5 hours is ambitious - I've done it in the height of summer and it took way longer than that.

leedsunited, London to Dallas to JH is by far the best. All legs by air. Trust me. Done it many times with kids aged 4 to 14

Chicago and Denver both get slammed by weather delays and lost baggage - there are very few flights direct to SLC - and I do LHR -> DFW -> SLC to get to Utah

Bode Swiller, I dont know what road U took to Jackson H, but from SLC I was driving once when I was living in SLA, and if the roads are clean from snow, it takes 5h 30 min, ( OK i was a little optimistic in my last post,,
stoat of the dead, You had proberly right about London-Dallas-Jackson, Chicago was just popping up in my head since the years I living in the US,,

Chicago, yes.

Denver, no. You are probably thinking of the old Denver airport 20 years ago.
