SMALLZOOKEEPER, have bootfitters got nothing else to worry about? Ingemar Stenmark promoted Caber boots but his were 20 years older. Top ski racers promote skis that basically only share the same top sheet graphics as the ones they use. Rally drivers promote cars that have no parts in common with the car they use and Red Bull gives you wings.

As Bode says, this appears to happen alot on the FIS W/C, however never seen it written on a poster like that before, heard people say "such and such wears Lange", but not the exact models. there's alot wrong with this image, and as a bootfitter, I feel it's wrong, to actually tell people that something has been used to win titles in order to sell them something when it's so wrong, also, in 2009 he was in a completely different boot, the ones he was supplied by the "Italian designers" weren't fit for purposed and were swapped for another Lange model. I appreciate the subtleties of marketing sometimes, but this is just lies.

Don't like the outright lie but who's getting hurt - if an RX130 doesn't fit your foot you won't be buying t regardless of if he is or isn't wearing them.

Anyone buying them via marketing rather than by fitting, around 70% of boot sold, albeit this is a high level model. They have another poster saying the RX Pro offers high performance in a wide fit, which adds some balance.

To be honest, I didn't know that - not that I've ever thought for a second that because a ski might be just the thing for Didier Cuche it would be any good for me.

Is it me, or does anyone else think advertising in sport is a complete waste of time? We all know what we purchase is totally different to what the Pro's use.
It happens in Golf all the time. Sponsers head covers on different drivers etc. It goes on in every sport. Are people really that gullable?

Arno, In 2009 the RX Pro was just a block of Plastic and he was fitted in RL11 150kn.
