Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

OK, I've got to admit that I hate all the 'which ski will make me a better skier' threads . . . just go, rent and practice numbnuts rolling eyes . . . but I'm now pretty much dedicated to tele and the skis are challenged/driven differently. So I'm looking for info, recommendations for a ski that will respond well to all mountain conditions under tele technique . . . including bumps . . . which as yet are my only intimate bum friend.

Currently on elderly 180(?) Icelandic Nomads which are surprisingly adaptable in the deep and on long carving turns but are a bit of a heavy handful in the tight and trees.

Of course it could just be me being fat, frail and fragile Sad

Masque, NTN or 75mm ? No idea about skis (I'm on Xwing Furies, 180 cm, Hammerheads).. turn quick enough for me. I am by no means a good tele skier.. but I found sorting bumps out also sorted short turns.... just a thought..

Masque, anything you know or like for those conditions skiing fixed heel will work just jim dandy on tele. Might be worth going marginally shorter and softer for tele, but I didnt, just converted with same skis. Nobody makes tele specific skis these days for a reason. Youre boot/binding combo just as (if not more) important when figuring out best setup to boss it in different circs
