Hey
Im im a friendly young 40s skier intermediate looking to get away in march need to get something sorted very soon.
Im happy to join a group any ideas?
What deals are available, Im looking for a good resort with large area, the higher the better.
Dont care about fancy hotels, half board would be good what with the price of the euro.
Im London based

We are driving down to La Plagne in France early on 12/3/11, coming back late on 19/3/11 via Eutotunnel. I have a people mover, and plan to take 6 people down. I have a spare place in the car and apartment as someone bailed.
So heres the deal... Fuel, Euro Tunnel, Tolls, Accom in Belle Plagne, most of the food, and insurance for......£290! (or nearest offer)
Its an 8 bed appt (2 others are meeting us), ski in/out, with pool and sauna. (I have never stayed here before but it looks OK on the website)
I'm going to try and take as much food as possible, and I'll be taking 6 evening meals with us.
I have a roof rack for kit.
You will need to:
1) Be a bloke pref between 25ish -35ish (just thinking about group dynamics, but whatever age really!)
2) Keep up/not mind skiing on your own (preferably be a bit of a nutter, and off-piste powder monkey, but not necessary)
3) Be able to get to Guildford area for 0700 on 12/3/11 (or meet en route to Dover) (you may be able to get a ride down from london to Guildford with a couple of guys from the group)
4) Have a relaxed attitude
5) Buy your ski pass/hire kit.
We should get at least 6.5 days skiing in. We'll be getting the last shuttle back to Calais on Saturday night (19th)
Interested? Drop me an e-mail - arutinsky@gmail.com
Only 10 days to go. Can't wait!!!!

If the one above does not work try Action Outdoors for the 19th March. They have a solo ski session about £700 all in (lift pass, skis, lessons, full board etc). A couple of snowheads booked. I am male, 50, and therefore do not be put off by the 'upper' age limit. However, good luck wherever you end up!

Flying from Manchester Saturday with BMI baby. Cost about £100 with bags and check in and taking the transfer Action Outdoors offer which is an extra £60 ish. Cheaper than the coach for me as getting to London is an arm and a leg from NW.
Have a look at their site and if you choose to go for it a beer Saturday pm sounds like a good option!
