Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Do you know anything about how they compare to the old Crossmax 10?

I've just spoken to someone on the phone who tested them. He said they're firm and hold an edge well; the Salomon dealers all rate it as one of the best two in their range this yr. His conclusion was that it is what the Crossmax 10 should have been last yr.

However, the recommended retail on a set with bindings is £575 (of course everyone will give a little discount on that) which he thought was too expensive for what they are.

Just one opinion - but he does test a lot of skis each year.

I could give an opinion, not based on having skiied that particular ski, but based on the model range that it is part of, but I suspect the language filter would kick in and describe the ski as a big fitzpatrick useless steaming pile of fitzgerald. Laughing

Wear The Fox Hat,

Don't mean to diss your opinion of course, but I quite like the Crossmax 10! I find it pretty versatile for what I like to do, without needing to take 3 sets of skis with me everyday...

u brain,

Cheers - luckily I am a BASI member so can get them with bindings for £303, he he...
