Does anyone know of a brewery near ski resort? Being a brewer I thought I'd get two passions in one trip.

Lots if place have microbrewery bars/brewpubs - MBC in Chamonix, Brewhouse in Whistler, Breckenridge Brewery etc. There's a larger scale brewery (Eichof?) in Lucerne which is close to a number of Swiss resorts.

Yep, the Zillertal brewery is right on the main street of Zell am Ziller (you also see it from the Zillertalbahn railway since the railway runs right through the centre of Zell).

The_Hirsty, Brasserie Alphand, Vallouise, is a short dirve from Briancon, so you could do both. Whistler has a good micro-brewery too.
